Though cricket the gentleman’s game is one of the most popular sports in Asia, which is now on way to expand around the globe, but still Americans doesn’t know anything about it.


Even cricketing body making efforts to make it equally popular in US, the game has not got that place in heart of US-citizens

U.S Consulate General Karachi Facebook page, which is turning out to be one of the most loved page for Pakistanis as it comes up with new ideas, which abridges Pakistani and American people, this time showed their employees cricket for the first time. The reactions of Americans trying to find what really this game is about are epic.

The employees were shown Pak vs Eng ongoing Test, and many were quite conscious that how these guys will be spending 5-days on a cricketing field as it is a 5-day contest.

With watching English pacers bouncers, one confused employee asked whether he is trying to hit the batter or the thing (wickets) kept behind.

Narrating this, they posted: “On December 8, 1959 US President Dwight Eisenhower visited the National Stadium Karachi and witnessed the ongoing test match between Pakistan and Australia. President Eisenhower was spotted wearing a Pakistani team blazer. Australian captain Richie Benaud joked ‘Mr. President you have joined the other camp.’ ‘Of course I am wearing their colours’ replied the president. ”
