Day 2 opened for Pakistan with the resistance from Yasir Shah, though it couldn’t be that long lasting as Pakistani leg spinner was dismissed on individual score of 26. The next to go was Azhar Ali, who fell short of 1 run to his half-century.

It was 127-3 on the board when Younis Khan and Asad Shafiq added crucial 150 runs for the team before Shafiq was sent back to pavilion with stunner from Stuart Broad on Finn’s ball.

Younis, and Asad Shafiq scored 101 not out and 109 respectively. This much needed contribution put Pakistan into the driving seat as Pakistan manged to get 340 with loss of 6 wickets at the stumps day 2.
