The chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan has appealed once again urging India to honour its commitment concerning December series with Pakistan.
Shahryar and a senior officials of PCB Najam Sethi had reached India to persuade Indian authorities to confirm December series with Pakistan. However, the meeting was interrupted and cancelled due to Shiv Sena protest and storm on BCCI office.
Not only protesters made the meeting to end, they also threatened they would not allow cricket series between Pakistan and India.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena activists have also threatened the top Pakistan empire Aleem Dar, who is currently serving the ODI’s between India and South Africa.
Earlier, PCB officials made their mind to travel to India to convince them for the series following their not responding to the letter written by PCB chairman seeking confirmation regarding series.
PCB has been trying to convince BCCI to holding the highly anticipated series scheduled to be held in December this year. However, BCCI have been seeking permission from their prime minister Narendra Modi to affirm the series and they did not affirm the series.
