Pakistani Test cricket team skipper, Misbah-ul-Haq is one of the most reliable batsman in the Pakistani camp as he is just there to score runs without bothering about the conditions or opponent team.
Captain Misbah, playing his first Test Match in Lord’s created the history in the most brilliant way possible. He scored the ton and made much needed partnership with Asad Shafiq to revive back in the game after Pakistan collapsed to 134-4.
Misbah didn’t gave up at the day 1 and will be continuing his innings from 110 runs notout.
The most exciting part for Misbah’s fans was his epic celebration Right after scoring a short for century Misbah saluted at hoisting flag of Pakistan and did push-ups, which worked as incing on the cake for Pakistani fans.
May weren’t knowing that for what these push-ups for, many thought this was the gesture of showing fitness by the 42-years old batsman.
Later on it came in knowledge that it was Misbah’s promise with Pakistan Army men which he kept while training camp at ASPT Kakul.
“I promised to the army guys at the training camp that I would do 10 push-ups if I made a 100.” said Misbah-ul-Haq.
Here we are showing you a blast from the past when Younis Khan celebrated his century against India in quite similar style.
At the time when Younis did push-ups, Misbah-ul-Haq was accompanying him on the crease. Here’s the throwback to Younis Khan’s push-ups:
