Inzamam-ul-Haq advices Junaid Khan to continue hard work


The Leftie-pacer Junaid Khan who filled the vacant space after Mohammad Amir’s ban from international cricket is now a days suffering to made his international comeback after he was ruled out of the team due to knee injury.


26-years old pacer, hailing from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa made his last national side appearance against Zimbabwe in May 2015, and was all positive to get back in side for the crucial England Tour. He was included in list of 21 players shortlisted for Skill Camp but couldn’t make place in 17-men squad for England Tour.

The dejected Khan showed concerns over the decision and showed anger on Twitter.

Though at the same time Junaid Khan’s statement about only playing for Pakistan has worked for his fans.

Finally, the chief selector of Pakistan cricket team, Inzamam-ul-Haq have came up with advice for Junaid Khan during his latest interview with Pakpassion.net.

“Junaid should not feel disheartened and continue the hard-work that he has been doing so far. That is the only yardstick for the selection of any player. If he needs an example of this idea put to practice, then he should look no further than Umar Gul who will now be making a return to the ODI squad after an absence of almost a year.” said Inzamam-ul-Haq
