ICC will not send its match officials for Pak-Zim series, statement on ICC Website

A statement on ICC website, tells that ICC is not going to send its match officials for the upcoming series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe in Pakistan, because of the security reasons.

The decision was upheld by ICC after receiving the security report from its consultant. This issue seems to be same as earlier it was in 2012, when Bangladesh was ready to play in Pakistan. ICC told PCB to appoint local umpires under special circumstances as they were not going to send their officials.

Pakistan has arrange elite security measurement for team Zimbabwe as they want revival of international cricket in Pakistan, around 6,000 security officers are appointed which includes police, rangers and sniper men.
