Here is what Salman Butt has to say over remaining unpicked in PSL Draft

Days back darts for PSL season 2 happened in Dubai. Around 400 cricketing names from around the globe were their for drafts. Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif who are playing at domestic level were also included for the drafts though they remained unpicked. On the other hand, Mohammad Amir, who played in PSL 1st season was even retained by the Karachi Kings for the 2nd season.

Salman Butt ended as second highest run-getter in National T20 Cup, though with not even catching the eyes of PSL franchises, Butt seems quite motivated.

While talking to Express Tribune, left-handed batsman said, “It was an honour to be included in the draft but honestly I wasn’t very hopeful,”

“It would have been good if I had been selected but I am not disheartened by the snub. I still have plenty of time and I hope I will be a part of the league one day.” he added.

“My main priority nowadays is first-class cricket. I am giving my best in order to catch the eyes of the selectors,” told Salman Butt.
