Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan expressed his despair and was disappointed at the attitude of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) during meeting on the Pak-India series.
Talking to media in New Delhi, PCB chief said he coveted everything to benefit Pakistan cricket and world cricket in general.
The dishearten PCB chairman stated that he won’t make further efforts after BCCI’s cold response concerning the series. He said that there is positive signals for the series whatsoever.
About the meeting, PCB chairman said that he was invited by BCCI to discuss bilateral discussion.
“It was a nice gesture from the BCCI to invite us and they were positive about the series before this unfortunate and condemnable situation came,” Shahryar said.
However, PCB Chairman is still hoping for the series to be held as he is expecting a positive response from BCCI.
“I hope the meeting will be rescheduled in Delhi, if not we will meet in Dubai in the next few days, I am still hopeful of a positive response.”
Earlier, the meeting between BCCI and PCB was ended without any fruitful conclusion after Hindu extremist group Shiv Sena stormed at the board office and protested against Pakistan.
