AB de Villiers aka the Superman of cricketing world, has proved his brilliance many times at different stages. Whether it is IPL, or CPL, de Villiers is not reluctant to show his skills.
The Proteas star who couldn’t be that impact full in recent tri series between Australia, West Indies and South Africa is once again back in form and is playing important role for Barbados in CPL 2016.
Last night AB secured Man of the Match against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for his 82 runs coming of just 54 balls.
The most exciting part of his scintillating innings was his response after being hit by a deadly bouncer. The South African star taking revenge on the very next ball threw the ball for an enormous six.
After securing the MoM, de Villiers at presentation ceremony said: “Good result for us. It’s nice to win games here at home. I got a bit lucky here and there. I’m pleased to be standing here. I was struggling to pick it up. This was one of those nights where I wasn’t seeing the ball well. I took risks a bit later in my innings which suited me tonight. Nicholas played a very good innings. The camp is very relaxed and it’s very refreshing. We take one game at a time. Loving my time in the Caribbean, especially Barbados. We are playing two games in a row on 16th and 17th and we have to keep the momentum going.”
