The City Loop, built in the 1970s, consists of four tunnels totaling 12 kilometres, and is an important part of Melbourne’s rail network that requires constant maintenance to ensure its operation. Acciona, which has been in Australia since 2002, has become one of the country’s major builders as it was recently awarded the construction of the new Western Sydney International Airport runway, for €328 million.
