Scheduled to be hitting theatres next year, the first official trailer of seventh installment in the Fast and Furious series released.
The latest version picks up where the previous had left off – after defeating Owen Shaw’s gang, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (the late Pual Walker), along with their crew return to the United States expecting of leading a normal life. However, things take a turn for the ugly when Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) comes looking for them as he seeks revenge for the death of his brother.
The action filled trailer displays the Toretto Posse jumping out of a plane in plane in cars in typical Fast and Furious fashion. However, the trailer unveils little about the plot except to confirm that Statham’s role will be a negative one.
The trailer shows a few of exceptional stunts and highlights some great action sequences by the group cast and especially Paul Walker, a pretty tribute to the actor who tragically passed away in a car accident a year ago.
The trailer concludes with Toretto saying, “I don’t have friends. I got family.”
The cast includes Michelle Rodringues, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges in prominent roles, among others. Written by Crhis Morgan the film directed by James Wan, filmed in Los Angeles, Canada, Japan and Abu Dhabi and is slated for release on April 3, 2015.
