KARACHI: Bollywood classic Sholay is set to release in Pakistan almost 40 years after it was released originally released in India, a report said.
The film is being brought to Pakistan by Mandviwalla Entertainment and will be released in 2D and 3D.
Terming the film “one of the most unique films of all time,” Nadeem Mandviwalla, owner and managing director of Mandviwalla Entertainment, said that classic was never released in the country and many people have been deprived of the experience of watching it in a big screen (cinema) and therefore the viewers will come to watch it if given the opportunity.
According to Nadeem Mandviwalla, film will release on 20th March.
Cast of film includes, veteran Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri among other Bollywood giants.
