At last the speculation came to an end, yesterday on Diwali Salman Khan’s much awaited Prem Ratan Dhan Pay was released worldwide. As expected, the film was a mighty blow on the box office, however, wasn’t able to break the opening day record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year, which was released on Diwali 2014.
The ensemble cast film constitutes Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher in the lead cast alongside Dabangg Khan. The director of the film was quite confident about the success of the film, and same happened as film’s Hindi version collected ₹ 40.35 cr on its opening day of release.

As it was a huge buzz of Salu’s fan vowing that PRDP will be breaking all the records till the date, however, the film wasn’t able to break the record of highest opening day of Happy New Year, which minted ₹42.62 cr (Hindi Version) on the opening day of its release on Diwali 2014.
Not to forget that, still the five-day celebrations of Diwali are ongoing and in coming days film can observe the rapid growth.
