The first teaser of Pakistan’s famous radio jockey-cum-TV anchor Sahir Lodhi’s debut Pakistani film ‘Raasta’ has been released to rock the media world of the country.
The dashing entry by the lead actor Sahir Lodhi in the teaser has explicitly suggested that the project is all about zipping the prevalent crime in the biggest city of Pakistan. Unlike expectations from the type of Sahir Lodhi’s first venture on the silver screen, he is portrayed in the movie in the figure of such a person who is a diehard sort of person in a hastiness to pinch the rivals.
The dialogue saying ‘there are two types of persons. One is like me, and the second is like you; and I hate both of them’, clearly suggests that the movie is not at all a romantic one, as was expected from the particular personality of Lodhi.
Former model Saima Azhar, also debut from this movie, will be seen alongside Sahir in Raasta. Being directed by Saqib Siddiqui and produced by Dr Faisal, Raasta’s script has been written by Sahir Lodhi and Shahid Naqvi.
As far the release date of the movie is concerned, we can derive a hint from the ‘Dilwale’ show of Sahir Lodhi with Bollywood golden duo Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. It was in this show that Sahir Lodhi said his ‘Raasta’ would be releasing the same day when Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming ‘Fan’ is scheduled to hit the cinemas across the two countries. According to the release date of ‘Fan’, Sahir Lodhi’s ‘Raasta’ is going to hit the big screen on April 15, 2016.
