Bruce Jenner breaks twitter record after becoming Caitlyn Jenner

Former Olympic athlete and reality TV star Bruce Jenner, who was under the process of changing his sex from man to woman, disclosed her new name as Caitlyn Jenner on Monday. Vanity Fair magazine posted her photo on the cover in a white strapless leotard.

The Vanity Fair magazine wrote on its cover “Call me Caitlyn” and commenting on this headline, Jenner said in a video message, represents a liberating phase of transition.

“Bruce always had to tell a lie”, said Jenner. “Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I’m free”.

Jenner also launched her new Twitter account on Monday as @Caitlyn_Jenner, saying “I am so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn”.

Caitlyn also broke another account on Twitter and became the fastest account to reach one million followers in four hours and three minutes according to Guinness World Records. Earlier this record was kept by US President Barrack Obama’s verified @POTUS account that reached one million followers in five hours last mont.
