KARACHI: Reports, which have been circulated that B-Town’s Bebbo Kareena is going to work with Pakistani filmmaker Shoaib Mansoor in his next movie, are appearing to be ambiguous after Shoiab’s avoiding comment about it.
“I wouldn’t like to comment or elaborate on these rumours for now,” expressed the director of famous Lollywood film Khuda Key Liye, explaining that he has ‘not spoken to any publication’ about the status of the casting for his upcoming movie.
However, one of the close friends of the versatile filmmaker confirmed the news about him having approached Kareena for the stint. “As far as I know, he has only pitched the movie to her so far,” said the friend.
Meanwhile, assumption developed after Kareena expressed her praise for Shoaib’s works, which was followed by rumours that the Pakistani filmmaker has approached her for an upcoming film.
“Although Kareena has verbally accepted the offer, she wants to hear the script. After that, she will sign the deal,” DNA India quoted a source as stating. “For a while now, she has been keeping an eye out for projects that will allow her to push the envelope and believes that Shoaib’s story is one of them.”
As stated in the Times of India, Kareena is yet to sign the Pakistan film.
Interestingly, it was Shoaib Mansoor that made Bollywood’s legend actor Naseer Uddin Shah to work in a Pakistani film and if Kareena really works with Shoaib, this would also form a pleasant example for the local film industry.
