The ensemble cast action-pack film of the year ‘Dishoom’ days back released, and as expected the film took box office by storm.
Surprisingly the film releasing worldwide didn’t get it on to the screens of Pakistani cinemas.
One of the lead actor of the film Varun Dhawan thinks Dishoom is banned in Pakistan, and he seems quite upset over this.
Really upset that #Dishoom is banned in pakistan. I don’t think the film eventually shows any country in a bad light. It’s a wrong decision

Earlier Varun has also said that the film doesn’t poses anti-Pakistan “It is a very positive representation. In fact, what we are trying to show is that for certain people money is their religion. It’s not being an Indian, Pakistani, Hindu, Muslim or Christian. In the capitalistic world that we live in, money is the biggest driving force for most crimes.”
However, the sources talking to Dawn Images told them Dishoom is not banned in Pakistan, “It was supposed to be released yesterday, we are just holding off the release for now. The situation is uncertain but we haven’t initiated a ban as of yet.”
Yet it isn’t clear that why the film is getting delayed in its release date.
This action-adventure film directed by Rohi Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is said to be the official remake of Malayalam film ‘Mumbai Police’. Pritam Charaborty ,who last teamed up with Rohit Dhawan for ‘Desi Boys’ music is back on the board for ‘Dishoom’.
