It seems that Irrfan khan is going through some bad times, after his recent comments about Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaabli’ poster, he’s once again in deep trouble as he is being alleged of criticizing.
Days back when Irrfan was asked about the similarity between the Madaari and Kaabali posters, said: “Even I didn’t know that. We are small filmmakers, I saw that Rajinikanthji’s film stole the poster of our film. You see his film’s poster and see our film’s poster. No big deal about it. Watch his film and watch our film, too.”
Up the latest, while promoting his film in Jaipur, he was asked about the religious rituals as celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr was just knocking at doors.
The Lunch Box star threw light on how Muharram is being observed recently, and also commented over the fasting during holy month of Ramadan.
“Rather than fasting during Ramazan, people should self-introspect. Animals are being slaughtered [in] the name of qurbaani during Muharram. We, Muslims, have made a mockery of Muharram. It is meant for mourning and what [do] we do? Take out (tajiya) processions,” he said.
The Bollywood star even got confused between Muharram and Eid-ul-Adha as the star claimed Muslims Muslims slaughters animals in the name of qurbaani during Muharram.
These comments caused outrage at different forums, Jaipur’s Muslim cleric Maulana Abdul Wahid Khatri, state secretary of Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Hind responding to it said, “It would be better if he concentrates on his film career and not make random statements about our religion. He is doing this just for the publicity of his upcoming movie.”
