Chennai and Mumbai-based director and photographer Maneesh Singh, who claims to be her friend from last 18 months while talking to media told that he talked with the Pakistani model just days before her murder.
At the same time he showed interest in making film over life of Qandeel Baloch’s life. Talking about his plans of making film, he told “I will soon file a formal request with the Pakistani government to get permission to shoot the film in her native village in Pakistan,” further adding that Qandeel was a revolutionary girl.”
It will be worth mentioning here that rumors in the air suggests that the film will be titled “Ghairat”, which literally means honour in English.
“The circumstances made her a controversial person before her death, however, deep within Qandeel was quite a normal human being like most of the women of her age in Karachi or Lahore,” he further added.
Singh also threw light over her possible settlement in India permanently. Qandeel Baloch was facing security issues and that is why she wrote it to the authorities.
But after not getting the answer within the time, she also told about her settling abroad with parents after Eid-ul-Fitr.
The model who was enjoying limelight, was killed by her own brother while she came to met her parents on occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The model was residing at her Garden Town residence in Multan, when she was killed by her brother late on 15th July night.
