Following wish of Lata Mangeshkar, Pakistani rickshaw driver Master Aslam quits job and starts music training

Around a month ago video of a a rickshaw driver singing the famous thumri ‘Yaad Piya Ki Aye’ went viral. The video posted by anonymous hurled storm on Pakistani social media. The Rickshaw driver Master Aslam was unaware of all that until he got appreciation from the Indian legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Soon after getting praise, Aslam’s world began to change as he was called on numerous TV shows and was rewarded for having such an awesome voice. Another Indian singer, Daler Mehndi was more than just impressed from Master Aslam, and showed his love by announcing a house as a reward of his soulful voice.

After getting into limelight, the rickshaw driver also sang in front of Shahid Afridi, who was also really impressed by Aslam’s effort.

Lata Mangeshkar while appraising Master Aslam’s brilliance also wished to see him in front of mic rather than driving rickshaw to earn his living. The legendary singer also shared Master Aslam’s video on his profile with the caption: “Namaskar. Abhi abhi mujhe kisine ye video bheja.Ye koi rickshaw chalewala hai aise video ke saath likha hua tha. Sunke main hairan hogayi. Mehsoos hua ki Ishwar kahan kahan apna chamatkar dikhata hai. Aap bhi suniye, main dil se chahti hun ki ye kalakar rickshaw na chalaaye ,mike ke saamne khada ho.”

Following this, Master Aslam has quit driving rickshaw and has started learning singing to pursue his musical career as source tell that he has been getting several offers since his video singing Bade Ghulam Ali Khan has gone viral.
