Bollywood: Film-star Emraan Hashmi happened to face hassle during shooting when a mob of 2000 people allegedly stormed at him.
As reported in Indian media, Hashmi was busy in shooting for his upcoming project ‘Azhar’ of Anthony D’Souza. The shooting was disrupted just after the venue where it was being shot as more than 2000 men marched at the spot.
Hassle started early in the day when film crew came to the Arts College building area and began making preparations for the film shooting. Students belonging to Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad and other student’s organizations hailed on the sets with slogans.
“The conduct of film shooting on the campus will result in disturbance to students. We will not allow any commercial activity on the university campus,” expressed a student leader after the incident.
On the other hand, the maker of the film D’Souza has deplored the incident and said that scene was scary. He further said that they had obtained all the permits necessary to carry out the shooting.
Meanwhile, the project Azhar is a biopic on the former Indian Test cricketer and captain of the side Mohammad Azharuddin’s life.
