The earthquake thriller ‘San Andreas’ directed by Brad Peyton hits the deck hard. The movie starring  Dwayne Jhonson,Carla Gugino,Alexandra Daddario and Paul Giamatti, earned more than $53 million to take the top spot at the box office during its opening weekend.

It is the largest ever opening for Dwayne Jhonson outside the fast & Furious franchise.

The screenplay was written by Carlton cuse, with Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore receiving story credit.
Andrew Lockington composed music of the film.

The movie surrounds the story of a professional rescuer helicopter pilot Ray Gaines (Dwayne Jhonson) who have to save her family in Los Angeles and San Francisco from the earthquake of magnitude 9. The plot of the story revolves around the rescue of Blake(Alexandra Daddario) daughter of Ray Gaines with his wife Emma(Carla Gugino).
The movie has great 3D visual effects while it’s screenplay is of pretty ordinary standard.

In the nutshell the movie is highly overrated due its cast and publicity.
