Salman Khan said that his latest blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s main role was first offered to his close friend Aamir Khan who recommended Salman suitable for this character.
During a press conference after the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the megastar what if Aamir was offered the role at first place. Salman responded with:
“Yes, Aamir told me that Prasad had come to him and he sent him to me. So, this is just Amir’s generosity.”
On about Prasad’s contribution in making the film, Salman said that the father of Bahubali director Rajamouli wrote the script of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. So, the first question was asked to him was, “Why didn’t you ask your son to direct the film and why not there (south India)?
“He replied that was because there was a difference in language. He said if this film has to be made, it has to be made very authentically.”
Meanwhile, as stated in the reports, Aamir had certain issues with Prasad’s script and had demanded some amendments in it, but Prasad did not comply with this suggestion.
The report also said that Hrithik Roshan was approached next and he liked the script but termed it as ‘expensive’. Eventually, Salman heard it and gave him the signing amount right away.
