The makers of film ‘Sarbjit’ have finally got the permit to shoot near the international border with Pakistan near Attari. According to the sources in next few days whole cast and crew will be heading to the place to shoot important scenes for the film.
Those who haven’t got much about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s next film should get it in their minds that the film is the biopic about an Indian national Sarbjit Singh, who was sentenced to death in Pakistan over espionage charges. Later, in May 2013 he passed away at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.
Randeep Hooda will be playing the titular role whereas Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing sister of Sarbjit, Dalbir Kaur in the film.
Hereby it is also told that the team ‘Sarbjit’ wasn’t getting the much needed permit to shoot near the international border, whereas lead actress of the film Aishwarya Rai Bachchan requested government officials to allow for the shooting of the film on the scene.
‘Sarbjit’ is directed and produced by Omung Kumar and in eyes of the movie analysts this will be a crucial film for Bollywood as 2016 have transformed a lot for the B-town, as some real life events are being brought to the sliver screens. Namely, Airlift, Neerja and Aligarh are the 2016 released films so far which are based on real life events. The next to come on the list is ‘Sarbjit’, which will be releasing on 19 May.
