Pakistan’s first ever 3D computer-animated feature-length adventure film 3 Bahadur directed by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy is going to be released on May 22.
The movies is a story of three outstanding children who soar from the unlikeliest of places to save their town form the evils that infects it. Replete with velour and extraordinary strength, these three 11-year-olds – Amna, Saadi and Kamil – battle against the odds and stand up to injustice to establish peace and harmony in their once booming neighbourhood.
3 Bahadur is a joint venture of ARY Films and SOC Films that run the company of Waadi Animations. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, who is the CEO of Waadi Animation said, “This partnership will allow us to create animated super heroes and heroines that will make us laugh and cry and, most importantly, entertain.”
“We all have an inner child and we will attempt to nurture the imagination of that child at Waadi Animations,” she added.
The Oscar Award-Winning Sharmeen Obaid had stated that the movie was helmed with a mission to inspire Pakistani kids to bring about a positive change in society and undertake social evils.
She also said that it was her extreme desire to create an animated feature in Pakistan that would appeal not only to children but also to adults alike. She asserted that 3 Bahadur is not merely a film, but rather it is a sort of movement. The message that the movie will convey is that ‘We shall overcome’
The movie is produced completely in Pakistan, based in a fictional town named as Roshan Basti (town of light).
The film music is composed , sung and produced by Shiraz Uppal at SU Studios, Lahore.
