Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale is available in Italian

Season 4 has reached one of the most popular and award-winning TV series of all time: The Handmaid’s TaleWinner of 8 Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes.

After only twenty-four hours of broadcasting in the US, the fourth season is available from April 29 in Italian, only on TIMVISION.

Book and story series

The series is based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, translated in Italy by Basim The Handmaid’s Tale. It tells of a miserable future in a totalitarian, militaristic, and misogynist country led by religious extremists.

The woman lost all her rights. They became man’s property and live in slavery. Among them, the very few fertility remaining on the planet, and therefore only used for reproductive discoveries, are specifically called “maids”. One of the maids is the protagonist of the series, John (Elizabeth Moss), who is first set to breed for Commander Fred Waterford (Joseph Fennes) and then become the daring leader of the rebellion.

We won’t give you any spoilers for Season 4. We can only tell you that the series continues with June as it grapples with new, unexpected and dangerous challenges in the pursuit of justice and revenge. But these challenges risk ruining the relationships that are dear to her.
