Reese Witherspoon stars in the comedy All Stars | Television

Reese Witherspoon She will star in and produce a new comedy titled all Starsof which Amazon Prime Video has ordered two seasons to produce.

The Hello Sunshine project was created by Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), who will also serve as director and director for half of the episodes, in addition to being part of the production team under Lean Machine.

All-Stars centers on a former Daytona Beach cheerleader (Witherspoon), who lies to get her way into a job, and finds herself managing an extremely diverse group of students, teaching them how to become an All-Star.

The series is loosely based on the life of Andrea Colbertig, a South American woman who went to the United Kingdom to be taught how to be a cheerleader.

It appears Reese has ended his commitment to The Morning Show, on which he stars alongside Jennifer Aniston, after three seasons.
The actress said:

I was looking for a project that would support our Hello Sunshine mission of making women the protagonists of their own stories for a young generation, in the long run. When I saw this story I immediately knew this idea would do just that. I was blown away by the idea of seeing an American woman sharing the American sport of cheerleading with a group of young women in the UK! I love that this series is full of real heart, deep joy, and the power of teamwork. I look forward to collaborating again with the brilliant, hilarious, and talented Aline McKenna to create a truly original and comical character, and working with the unparalleled Amazon team on this project.
