As usual, there’s no official date set, but Sony has traditionally introduced the new lineup of free titles on the Wednesday afternoon before the first Tuesday of the month. So, barring surprises, the official announcement will take place Wednesday 29th March 2023 at 5.30pm.

If this time is respected, free PS Plus Essential games for PS5 and PS4 will be made available to all subscribers of the service starting on the first Tuesday of the month, i.e. April 4, 2023.

But we already know one: It’s Meet Your Maker, Behavior’s first-person shooter, which will be free for subscribers starting April 4th.
