U.S. Embassy calls ‘visa-free’ entry for Pakistanis a false story


Pakistanis on Monday woke up to hear that their country is added to the “U.S. Visa Waiver program”, which meant they’ll no more be requiring any visa to travel U.S.


Like many other fake news, this also spread as fire in the bush, even many of the prominent newspapers covered this story, which made people to spread this piece as national duty.

This all also raised hoopla on social media, with laving many confused about this move by U.S. Embassy.

The news would surely not be less than a miracle for Pakistan as they posses one of the worst passport globally, according to the report by published by Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index 2016.

As per the report Pakistanis can only go visa-free in 29 countries globally, which is the second low after Afghanistan’s 25 in the list.

Even not bothering about these facts, Pakistanis believed that they are added to the “U.S. Visa Waiver program”.

Keeping all this in view, U.S Embassy came in to tell that the reports revolving around about Pakistan added to the “U.S. Visa Waiver program” are false.
