ISLAMABAD: On Saturday after noon, earthquake tremors were observed in areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkwa and Federal capital Islamabad, private media reported.
Magnitued of earthquake was 5.8 and epicentre was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan (36.50N, 71.09E)with depth of 175Kms.
People came out of their homes and workplaces during tremors in Shangla, Malkand, Peshawar and Islamabad, media reported.
Mobile Phone services also disrupted in some parts of K-P.
Two months ago, more than 300 people were killed by a quake in the K-P, however no causality is reported today so far.
