Pakistan conducted the nuclear test in spite of immense international pressure on 28 may, 1998 at Chaghi, in reply to India’s 11 and 13 may nuclear try-out. On 28 May at 3 pm Prime Minister Sharif began his televised address with the statement:
“Today, we have settled a score and have carried out five successful nuclear tests.”
CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N government to make the defense of Pakistan unsurpassed more than ever rejected every external pressure, conducted the successful nuclear tests. Furthermore CM Punjab said entire nation was proud of this epic response on 28 may, 1998.
There are six sovereign states other than Pakistan and India who possess the nuclear power, United States, United Kingdom, China, Russia, France and North Korea are the other members of the nuclear club
