Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has emphatically said that all the projects linked with China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will be finished within the destined time frame.
PM said so while presiding a meeting in Islamabad on Monday to review the progress of ongoing projects of CPEC.

During the meeting, he also directed the Interior Ministry to boost the security for the Chinese workers working in various projects under CPEC in the country.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, on this occasion, briefed on CPEC projects thoroughly.
CPEC is one of the mega projects in the history of Pakistan with the collaboration of China to connect Gwadar Port to China’s north-western autonomous region of Xinjiang, via a network of highways, railways and pipelines to transport oil and gas. The project is seen as a central to China-Pakistan ties and would run about 3,000 km from Gwadar to Kashgar.
The cost of this milestone project is estimated at over $46 billion, with the whole project to be accomplished in couple of years.
