Suspects, facilitators of Lahore blast arrested, says ISPR


LAHORE: Intelligence agencies with the coordination of Army and Rangers carried out  as many as five operations to catch suspected terrorists and facilitators after  last night Lahore blast at a park which caused heavy death toll, the army media wing head said.  


Along with suspects huge cache of arms and ammunition also recovered.

Asim Bajwa shared the activity of Army after Lahore blast, he said, “COAS chaired a high level security meeting at GHQ today to review progress of operation in Punjab to nab terrorist in the aftermath of Lahore Blast”.

Revealing on ground action, Bajwa revealed, Five operations  the areas of  Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan carried out since last night Lahore Blast and operation will continue after more leads.


Soon after attack, TTP Jamatul Ahraar owned the responsibility of Lahore blast.

On Yesterday evening (Sunday), unknown suicide bomber carried out suicide attack in park at Lahore, which claimed the lives of at least 72 people and around 250 are injured. Death toll feared to increase as many injured people are in critical condition.
