Video: Interruption during live show not directed at me, says Wasim Akram


WEB DESK: Former champion fast-bowler and Pakistan Captain Wasim Akram interrupted when he was giving his expert opinion on cricket match between Australia and India during live show.


He was talking about Virat Kholi match winning performance when attackers came and the video showed onfusion on the face of Wasim Akram and he stood up, eventually camera shut off by the people who interrupted.

Show host Vikrant Gupta cleared the air by tweeting about the mishap, he said, nothing to worry about, Wasim Akram is fine, few people objected about the camera installed in the place.

Wasim Akram commented about the incident, “The incident that took place in Mumbai was not directed at me and has since been professionally dealt with. Thank you for all your concern.”


In another Tweet,  Wasim Akram asked people who are concerned about the incident to pray for the Lahore victims, referring to suicide blast happened in Lahore park which claimed the more than 65 lives of people, including women and children.
