WEB DESK: After the ad of Mobilink featuring Nargis Fakhri, which remained talk of the town due to prominence given to the curves of 36 years model in the ad. Ufone sees an opportunity to promote their phone and also to cash on the sentiment aroused by the mobilink ad.
Ufone featured Fasial Quershi in exact similar fashion what Mobilink’s ad did. Ad says, ” Excuse me humara Mobile Phone behtar or sasta hay”, taunting the rival’s ad in which Nargis curves were all over the page, ad further says, ” Ishatahar bhi chup k dekhnay ki zarorat nahi”.
Earlier, after Mobilink ad, the people are Ok with the TVC launched as in the country leading departments with hawk-eye checkout anything obscene or disturbing should’nt made it to the screens.
But the people felt it obscene as Nargis Fakhri features on the front page of one of the leading Urdu newspaper. Although, such controversies are not new for us but right now it is one of the hot topic of debate on Social media. As many people from different fields of life condemned it calling ‘obscenity’.
In the featured Nargis Fakhri is seen lying down with a phone in her hand as she was endorsing for a phone launched recently.
It is pertinent to mention here, that before the phones Nargis Fakhri endorsed was launched. Many of the other newspaper showed her featuring on the front-page to raise curoisty among the audience but in those particular ads, American-born was not seen lying down.
