Health TV (HTV) is considered as first health television channel, is presented by Ziauddin Hospital and Ziauddin Medical University. This channel is a very unique so far with its initiative in Pakistan. The health based channel was launched in October, 2010.

The channel is getting popularity by leaps and bounds, although its show ‘Clinic Online’ is termed as controversial by many, as it contains sexually explicit talks. As print media and telemedia in Islami Jamhooria Pakistan have to pass various tests to be considered as clear for viewership purpose in Pakistan.

Clinic Online is a health based show in which live calls are received from all around the Pakistan, there are specialized doctors available in the show, who answers the medical problems being faced by the people and also gave some advises to get out of it. Sexual issues like erection, abortion, breast cancer and other issues are also talked openly.
