Public dashed to express their views on social media site Twitter soon after having seen the supermodel Ayyan Ali visiting and delivering lecture in a university in Karachi.

A large number of users mocked and made fun of how a ‘money launderer’ became ‘lecturer’ in a university. Many of them tweeted saying ‘she was called there to deliver lecture on money laundering,’ some said that it’s a joke of the day, while some that she could teach monetary policy, etc.

Some users on Twitter also criticised the university that invited the person who has been involved in money laundering and has spent four months in police custody. Earlier, supermodel Ayyan Ali appeared as a Guest of Honour at University of Karachi where she was invited by Department of Public Administration. Ayyan Ali got enormous fame soon after she got arrested by the customs at Benazir International Airport Rawalpindi just before a while when she was about to board a Dubai flight along with $500,000 in her luggage. She spent exact four months in jail, however, it was this period that had made her much more famous than she used to be.
