LAHORE: Senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Jahangir Badar passed away at the age of 72 on late Sunday night after suffering from the heart attack.
According to the sources, the leader was admitted in the hospital for two days after suffering from cardiac and kidney complications and due to the last cardiac arrest he was placed in ICU where he couldn’t recover and left this mortal world at the age of 72.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has called for a 3-day mourning and have also cancelled the meeting scheduled to be held today in Dubai.
National leaders nationwide paid condolences over the sad demise of Mr. Badar.
Jahangir Badar was one of the closet aide of Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto and also stood with Zulfiqar Bhutto as a student leader while he was the university student.
He relentlessly worked and fought for PPP, he struggled heroically and was imprisoned during dictators Zia’s rule but stood by SMBB -AZ
