Scheduled Corps Commander Conference has been started


RAWALPINDI: Routinely Corps Commander Conference chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has been started.


The 169th Corps Commander’s Conference is underway in General Head Quarter (GHQ) Rawalpindi.


Progress of operations ‘Zarb-e-Azab’ and ‘Khayber One’ are the agenda of the meeting. COAS will be briefed by the current internal and external security situation of the country.

Moreover, Chief will also take participants into confidence on his recent China and UK visit.

Conference will be continued up to 4th February 2014 and the said date is for the promotion of Brigadier to the rank of Major General.
