LAHORE: Son of slain governor Punjab Salman Taseer, Shahbaz Taseer recovered after almost 5 years of abduction, private media reported.
According to reports, Shahbaz Taseer has been recovered from Kuchalak area of Balochistan after successful operation conducted by Police and Law and Enforcement agencies.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) army media wing has also confirmed the news.
After recovery, he has phoned his family members and will be reached home soon in Lahore, electronic media said.
Spokesman Baluchistan Anwar-ul- Haq Kakar, while speaking to media channel said that it is a very big day for LEAs, CM Balochistan has appreciated security officials role in his recovery,moreover,, answering the question about his physical health, he said initial medical test revealed that Shahbaz Taseer is healthy.
Taseer was abducted on 26 August, 2011 from Lahore, when he was going to his office in his silver Mercedes Kompressor (LZT-1) around 10:15 am.
Former governor son was not active in politics, he was heading several companies which was founded by his late father, including Frist Capital Equities Ltd, Media Times Ltd, Pace Pakistan Ltd and First Capital Securities Corp Ltd.
