PTI to draw future plans


Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is going to form its strategy in reaction to the president’s speech to the joint session of parliament and for the upcoming budget speech.


“Our party will hold a meeting to formulate a strategy on the upcoming budget and to discuss the first address to the joint sitting of Parliament by the incumbent president,” said Dr Shireen Mazari, the party’s information secretary.

“There are a score of issues to be discussed in the meeting, including the new budget and reviewing election issues with particular reference to PTI’s recent triumph in Pindi Bhattian,” said Mazari.


According to her, the party meeting will be presided by the PTI chief, Imran Khan who is to frame the future line of action over the policy.

PTI is going to raise objections against the current government over the hot issues of Pakistan including load-shedding, inflation and unemployment. It is also expected that PTI leaders will brief Imran on their recent victory over PML-N leader in Pindi Bhatia.

Moreover, it is also said by an official of PTI media cell that the issue of rigging during the last year’s election will also be discussed in the meeting while the party’s anti-rigging rally schedule for June 7, in Sialkot.
