PTI chairman Imran Khan announces nationwide protest from 6 Feb


ISLAMBAD: Paksitan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday announced nationwide protest from 6 February.


In series of tweets, Imran Khan criticized Nawaz Sharif government policies, said that his party will not allow economic oppression of public.

He condoles the family of PIA workers, who lost their lives during on-going protest against Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Tuesday morning.

Commenting on PIA privatisation issue, he said that there has been a deliberate destruction of PIA by mismanagement and incompetent governing.

Lamenting PM Nawaz priorities, PTI chairman said , “Sharif brothers shower money on commission-sucking projects like Orange train”.



After the tweets, Minister for Information Pervaiz Rahsid along with PML-N leaders Zubair Umar and Daniyal Aziz, held a press talk, refuted all the allegations levelled by PTI chairman, he also termed call for protest against government as ‘Dharna 2’.  PML-N stalwart  further said that how PTI chairman can criticise on PIA privatisation as it was the part of their own party manifesto in general elections 2013.
