PTI asks PTV to broadcast Imran Khan’s address to nation


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has send a official letter to state-owned Pakistan Television (PTV) asking for arrangement to broadcast Imran Khan’s address to nation on coming Sunday.


Central Information Secretary PTI Naeem ul Haque wrote letter to PTV, he said, “You are therefore requested to make all the necessary arrangements for Mr. Imran Khan’s LIVE address to the Nation on 10th April, 2016 at 6:00pm. Mr. Imran Khan would address the nation from his office using DSNG/ Live OB Van”.








After Panama leaks, political arena of country has been chaotic, parties hurled allegations against each other. PML-N targeted Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital investments saying that Imran Khan has invested SKMT fund in off-shore companies. In reply, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has grilled government in parliament and private media.

It is normal practice in the country, state owned information print and electronic media houses always projected government in a positive manner and some how ignored opposition narrative.
