ISLAMABAD: Dealing with current political scenario, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called a party council in Islamabad.
Keeping in view the uncertain and unexpected political situation, Nawaz Sharif called a party meeting, the sources said, in which apart from party leaders, the federal ministers and MNAs will participate.
The Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood is also called for the meeting.
The sources said that the meeting will take place at 3pm in which Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Information Minister Pervez Rashid, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Minister for development Ahsan Iqbal, Railway Minister Khwaja Saad Rafique, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Irfan Sadique, Raja Zafar ul Hap and Hamza Shahbaz besides many others will ensure their presence.
Strategies for Azadi-march and revolution-march will be framed during the quorum as stated by the sources.
Meanwhile, the ruling party has concerns over Azadi-march scheduled by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTA) on August 14 and Long-march as planned by Pakistan Awami Tehrek (PAT); and the government is busy in preparing strategies before these processions.
