KARACHI: The former president of Pakistan and Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) co-chair Asif Ali Zardari has supported Imran’s view in recounting the votes in the four constituencies.
According to a report, the former president has backed the Imran’s stance in reviewing the 4 constituencies and said delivered a question for Nawaz Sharif that why he is afraid over recounting.
“We have acknowledged the election results for the survival of democracy in the country, and approve the recounting whether it is to occur in Sindh or Punjab,” he said.
Criticizing the current prime minister of Pakistan, Zardai said that Nawaz’s attitude is like that of a ‘king’. He declared that the nation did not elect Nawaz Sharif to become a dictator. Further he said that public is looking for a smooth supply of water and electricity but no one is ready to hear them out in this regard.
On the other hand, the vice chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Shah Mehmood Qureshi has invited Zardari in the long-march to be held on August 14.
