ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain is visiting Azerbaijan from today upon three day visit on the invitation of his counterpart Ilham Aliyev. Four MoUs and agreements are expected to be signed during the visit.
During the visit, the President will be accompanied by the first lady, cabinet members and senior government officials, as well as delegation of businessmen representing leading manufacturing and production companies of Pakistan.
During the visit, both presidents will hold a tete-a-tete (face to face private conversation) that would be followed by delegation level talks. The main agenda of the meeting would be to review bilateral relations including economic, trade and commerce, science and technology, culture and education and international issues of mutual concern.
According to Radio Pakistan, four MoUs and agreements are expected to be signed during the visit. Moreover, a Trade and Investment Seminar will also be held. In past, President of Pakistan had said that textile, sports and pharmaceuticals products of Pakistan were of international standards. Moreover, Pakistan could extend cooperation to upgrade the military hardware of Azerbaijan. He hoped that Azerbaijan would invest in energy infrastructural projects.
