ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif who has holding the office Prime Minster for the third time has often came under the criticism of opposition and media over his frequent foreign visit.
In a written reply to question that how much Prime Minister’s Foreign trips cost to national exchequer, National Assembly was told by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nawaz has spend 185 days abroad in 65 foreign visits which cost Rs638.27 million.
Premier accompanied by 631 officials during all the trips, has visited UK 17 times. He almost spent two months in the United Kingdom, of which 32 days were regarded as official stays while 24 days were marked as transits.
After UK, Nawaz visited Saudi Arabia four times, in China and US premier had three official tours.
PM has made 65 trips abroad between June 2013 and Feb 2016, total number days are 185.
