RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif will visit the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to witness ongoing military exercises on special invitation from March 9, DG ISPR said.
“On special invitation, COAS will visit KSA and witness ongoing Military Exercises from 9th of March, in the field for two days,” DG Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) tweeted on Monday.

Earlier, PM office has announced that Nawaz Sharif will visit Saudia Arabia on Wednesday for three- day.
Premier is visiting the Kingdom on the invitation of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud to witness the military exercise ‘North Thunder’, said a statement issued by the PM House.
Forces from 21 countries, including Pakistan, are taking part in the exercises in the northern region of Saudi Arabia. Main idea of exercises is to enhance level of training to counter terrorist outfits.
