The Petition filed by PTI Blames PML (N)


The Petition filed by PTI Blames PML (N) of Rigging in NA-118 and NA-154 Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI), files miscellaneous petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan about the irregularity in counting of the votes and bogus casting in Na-118 Constituency.
The petition was filed by the counsel of PTI , Hamid Khan which alleged Imtiaz Tajwar, the acting Chairman of National Database and Registration Authority as being involved in the rigging activity. The application blamed PML(N) of hatching a scheme of rigging and tempering in vote bags in the mentioned constituency. The Chairman NADRA, was also changed so that this scheme may be completed it further alleged. IT claimed that the acting chairman was merely a puppet of PML (N) and was tempering the votes to please his superiors who has appointed him. The petition also added that the complaints filed about the verification of vote counting in NA-154 were also pending with NADRA and it also expressed its mistrust over the current leadership in creating hurdles to resolve the issue.The safety of the bags containing the ballot papers must be ensured by the appointment of a local commissioner in the absence of thumb print verification, it demanded. Soon after the 2013 National Elections, PTI Chief, Imran Khan has started its campaign against the full scale fraud and eye wash in elections.PTI chief has been demanding the verification of thumb impressions with the assistance of Nadra.
