Pakistani student wins gold medal in international Mathematics Competition


SARGODHA:  A student of Beacon house School System was rewarded with a gold medal in Australia recently.


Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated student for winning the international competition.

A Pakistani student Abu Hifs has won the gold medal by getting the first position in international Mathematics competition which is held under South Wales University in Australia.

Abu Hifs, belongs to Kotmmin area of Sargodha and he was the student of seventh class in Bhabra Higher Secondary Government School Tehsil Kot Momin and he showed the excellent performance among the students of 16 countries who took part in the competition.


Abu Hifs secured 4405 points and got first place while another Pakistani Student Hasnain got the second position in International competition with 4303 points in 11-13 years age category.

In 14-18 years age category, another student of Pakistan named Osama secured got the second position with 3318 points.

About 1.57 million students took part in this International Mathematics competition from all over the world.

Chief Minister of Punjab Meya Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the students for winning the gold medal.
